Moodboards

These are mood boards for both of the user groups.

Looking at the mood board for the parents or carer's a few key issues were raised. The parent/carer acts as a role model for the child, they want to raise them the best way that they can. They like to be fun and they like to spend time with their child. But they can get lonely and miss them when they're starting school. They know that it was inevitable but it still doesn't hold back the emotions. Being able to communicate with their child will not only be good for the child but the parent will feel better too.

Looking at the mood board for children aged 6 -8 i found a few key things that we will have to take into account when designing our device. Firstly it will have to be strong and robust because kids at this age like to run around and be really active. They are just starting out at school, so our device will have to be something that doesn't distract them or other students from doing their work. They can also get very attached to things, we want the kids to get attached to our device and take it everywhere with them. I thought that at this age they don't like to be away from their parents so to be able to communicate with them would be a very big thing.
